Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Lidae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Sir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lidae comes to the cage accompanied by Lighters. Sir has chosen Kickstart as his entrance music. Steven Lidae had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be fireworks!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pablo Sir!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sir looks to score with a jab to the body but Lidae is just out of range.
Lidae finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A bone on bone clash there as Sir blocks the leg kick.
Sir swings widly with a right hand

and Lidae decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sir's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sir keeping moving, preventing Lidae from controlling successfully.

Sir is looking for a triangle but Lidae pushes his legs off easily.

Lidae is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sir wants to sweep but no luck.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sir is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lidae is aware though and is defending well.

Lidae stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sir swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sir has his foot on Lidae's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lidae works his way back into a safe position though.
Lidae has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lidae drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sir manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lidae has Sir in his guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sir working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lidae's head.

Sir with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sir stands up over Lidae, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Lidae is looking for a triangle but Sir pushes his legs off easily.

Lidae looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Sir is defending well. Lidae quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sir has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lidae celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

A very excited looking Steven Lidae rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
