The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circle momentarily. Swanson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Swanson throws a low kick but Balboa avoids it.

and Swanson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Balboa scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Balboa looks to land a left hand but Swanson moved out of range nicely.

Balboa is looking to clinch but Swanson is avoiding it.

Balboa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Swanson, pushing him back against the cage.

Balboa seems to have got his legs back now.

and Swanson counters with a nice uppercut.
Swanson is looking to chop away at Balboa's legs.
Balboa darts in trying to clinch
and Swanson counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Balboa off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Swanson follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Balboa was out before he hit the floor.
