Hernandez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Swimming Pools. Brian Cowherd is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Hernandez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Cowherd escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hernandez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cowherd is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hernandez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cowherd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hernandez has managed to get both his arms back between Cowherd's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Cowherd closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hernandez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cowherd gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Cowherd dips a shoulder and cracks Hernandez with a mighty uppercut! Hernandez falls back against the cage and Cowherd unloads with a barrage of strikes! Hernandez is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Cowherd screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
