The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Margera on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Desormeaux doesn't manage to clinch there - Margera circles away.

Desormeaux shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Margera sprawls well. Margera wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Desormeaux gets slowly back to his feet.

Adelard Desormeaux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Desormeaux wants to control but Margera is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Desormeaux is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Margera pulls his head out easily.

Desormeaux has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Margera is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Margera lands with a nice combination. Desormeaux backs away looking to recover.
Margera throws a wild hook but Desormeaux just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Margera gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Desormeaux raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
