Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and IceMan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gold comes into the arena with Fire Bug blaring out of the sound system. Al Gold could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to IceMan Jones's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Jones.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gold circles away quickly and effectively.

IceMan Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones scores with a head kick. Gold tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Jones tests Gold's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Gold avoids a kick to the body.
Gold shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Gold ducks right into an uppercut from Jones.

The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gold takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jones lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jab, jab by Jones - just one landing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones tries to bum rush Gold with a series of wild strikes but Gold uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gold shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Gold takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jones lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gold at a distance.

IceMan Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones lands a slapping body shot.
Jones jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jones's corner calls for a 1-2. Jones obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Oooooh!!! Jones has knocked Gold down with a huge combo! Jones steps away and waves a wobbly Gold back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Gold moves out of range of the strikes.
Oh Gold is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gold takes one on the button.
Jones connects with a nice cross there... Gold is looking wobbly and Jones recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Gold to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Jones jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
