Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolai Romanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Fuego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romanov comes to the cage accompanied by Kalinka. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov shoots for a takedown but Fuego saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Romanov fails to land the takedown.

Romanov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fuego is desperately trying to improve his position but Romanov has a good base and remains in mount.
Fuego really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Romanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Romanov cracks Fuego with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
