Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Kewell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes into the arena with Eminem- Cold Wind Blows blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Hector Ross has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kewell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kewell lands in his opponent's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ross has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kewell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kewell uses his free foot to push down on Ross's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ross.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kewell wants to free his trapped foot but Ross is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kewell is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ross is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Sonny Kewell spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
The defeated Hector Ross had this to say: 'I wasnt out i was tired so i close my eyes for a second i promise'.
