Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hugh Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Landon West!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jordan misses with a wild combination.
Jordan scores with a nice right hand.


It looks like Landon West has been cut.
Jordan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
West connects with a leg kick. Jordan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jordan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? West is fending him off so far but Jordan persists. Nope, West circles away and we're back to standing.
Jordan is breathing heavily.
Jordan stuffs the takedown.
Jordan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to West's calf.
West has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jordan.
Jordan takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Hugh Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jordan with a poor takedown
and West counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

West has closed the distance and engaged Jordan in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as West takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
West putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Jordan in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Jordan lands with a light punch inside.

West has Jordan pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. West pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jordan tumbling to the mat - West dives into Jordan's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as West accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jordan wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

West avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
West wants to control from the top but Jordan keeps moving.
Jordan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and West dives into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jordan striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Jordan is pushing West's head away, looking to escape. West manages to hold on to the position though.

West has hold of Jordan's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jordan seems comfortable defending it but West has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jordan is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jordan is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but West couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Landon West!
