The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds tries to clinch but Gordon is having none of it.

Gordon shoots in and bounces Reynolds off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Reynolds pulls Gordon in close to prevent any damage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Roger Reynolds hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Gordon throws a body punch but Reynolds moves out of range.

Gordon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Reynolds avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Reynolds creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gordon's defenses.
Gordon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reynolds just stands there and leans against the cage.

Reynolds fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gordon, pushing him back against the cage.

Reynolds creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Reynolds just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gordon's brow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gordon is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Reynolds pushes off an throws an elbow but Gordon leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Reynolds dives in and grabs Gordon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gordon pushes down on Reynolds's head and hops out.

and Gordon counters with a nice body shot.

Gordon cracks Reynolds with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gordon has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Reynolds to stand back up!

It looks like Roger Reynolds has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gordon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reynolds is still on wobbly legs! Can Gordon finish him?
Reynolds tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Gordon counters with a left to the body.
Reynolds seems to have recovered his senses.
Gordon wobbles Reynolds with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Gordon dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Reynolds to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
