PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between JunJun Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Dos Trias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Junior Dos Trias was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Junior Dos Trias!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Trias is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Dos Trias wants to clinch but Jones slips to the side

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch.
Dos Trias is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jones pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Dos Trias has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jones after a bit of a struggle.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dos Trias tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dos Trias moves to clinch but Jones breaks away
and Jones counters with a body kick that stops Dos Trias in his tracks momentarily.
Dos Trias takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
No luck for Dos Trias with that takedown attempt.
JunJun Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Dos Trias.

and Jones counters with a nice body kick.

Dos Trias tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.
