The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzo throws a leg kick but David checks it.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gonzo is trying to control the action in half guard but David is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gonzo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
David moves out of range of the body kick from Gonzo.

David throws a hook but Gonzo avoids it easily.
David lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gonzo at a distance.
David takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gonzo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
