The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by daglish which made him look bad.

and Smith counters with a nice double leg into side control. daglish won't be happy with that.

Smith tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Smith has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

It looks like he might have it! daglish tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Smith cranks the arm and daglish screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from daglish, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
