Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clay Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanko Velilkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Stanko Velilkov enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Velilkov or perhaps it was just good defense by Thomas which made him look bad.
Velilkov walks into a straight right hand from Thomas.
Velilkov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Velilkov moves into the clinch.
Thomas tries to work over Velilkov's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Velilkov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Thomas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Clay Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stanko Velilkov.

Thomas scores with a jab. Velilkov acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Thomas has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Velilkov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Velilkov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thomas.

Velilkov doesn't manage to clinch there - Thomas circles away.
Velilkov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Velilkov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Velilkov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Thomas is looking to regain half guard here but Velilkov keeps moving and retains side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Thomas dodges the ground and pound from Velilkov.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Velilkov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thomas swivels and escapes.
Velilkov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Velilkov throws a right and a left that Thomas avoids nicely.

A jab-cross combination lands for Thomas and sends Velilkov crashing to the mat! Thomas follows him down to the mat - Velilkov regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Velilkov is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thomas lands a big elbow - Velilkov is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Thomas!
