The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huecias misses with the combination.
No joy there for Huecias, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Huecias throws a right and a left that Honda avoids nicely.
Huecias tries to land a front kick but Honda steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Huecias had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Honda is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Huecias Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Honda's back instead.

Huecias is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Honda is defending well though. Huecias let's go of the attempt for now.
