PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harold Buck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lupercal Abaddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abaddon has chosen Heartless as his entrance music. Lupercal Abaddon told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abaddon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Abaddon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Buck, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Buck's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Abaddon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Buck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Abaddon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Abaddon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Buck fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Abaddon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Lupercal Abaddon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Abaddon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
