Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Dillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mighty Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillard shoots in and drives through. Mouse sprawls well.
Dillard fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dillard tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mouse swivels and escapes.

Mouse looks to land a combination. Dillard sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Mouse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dillard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mouse is still trying to improve position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mouse trying to control the position from guard on top but Dillard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dillard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mighty Mouse hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Mouse moves into range and clinches up with Dillard.

Mouse wants to break free but Dillard has control.
Dillard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Mouse is trying to force a seperation but Dillard has the dominant position.
Mouse wants to get back to striking at distance but Dillard won't allow it.
Dillard has Mouse pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mouse manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Dillard gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dillard in particular looking to stall.
Mouse wants to get back to full guard.
Dillard wants to control but Mouse is keeping him busy.
Dillard takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mouse slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dillard is pushing down on Mouse's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mouse is fighting to maintain full guard but Dillard has managed to sneak the leg through.
Mouse is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Dillard is looking to take a break and control but Mouse is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dillard get's back to his feet.

A close round but Mighty Mouse will probably get the nod.
That's time! Dillard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Dillard shoots in for a double leg but Mouse sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mouse checks a leg kick.

Dillard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mouse keeps working.

Oh Dillard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mouse fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Dillard to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Dillard looks to clinch but Mouse throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Dillard taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
