The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Williams counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Williams cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Calagan misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Calagan closes the distance but Williams moves to the side
enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab.

and Williams counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bobby Calagan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Williams seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Calagan for as long as he can get away with.

Calagan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Williams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Williams will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Calagan up against the cage.
