Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniek Rondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amos Phantom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phantom has a takedown stuffed.
Phantom misses with a takedown
and Rondo counters with a head kick. That will keep Phantom thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Rondo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Phantom swivels and escapes.
Rondo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Phantom tries to avoid it but Rondo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Phantom to the ground. Phantom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Phantom is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rondo tries to roll over but Phantom keeps him under control.

Phantom goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rondo turns into him and now he's in Phantom's guard.

Phantom leaves Rondo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rondo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Phantom avoids it really well and circles away.

Phantom shoots for a double leg takedown but Rondo sprawls well. He's pushed Phantom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rondo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Phantom on his heels. He'll look to pass Phantom's guard now, I'm sure.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daniek Rondo will probably get the nod.

Phantom misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Phantom shoots in for a double leg but Rondo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Phantom stuffs the takedown attempt from Rondo. Rondo gets slowly back to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rondo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
