And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sagan Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pearson clinches up with Tyson and pushes him back against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Tyson obliges.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Tyson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Tyson taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Pearson is working for takedown but Tyson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tyson throws a knee to the head but misses.
Pearson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tyson walks away with a smile on his face. Pearson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Pearson swings widly with a right hand
and Tyson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tyson lands with a nice combination. Pearson backs away looking to recover.
Pearson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tyson.
Tyson connects with a body shot that sends Pearson's belly button to the back.
Tyson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tyson duly obliges.
Tyson lands with a nice combination. Pearson backs away looking to recover.
Tyson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pearson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tyson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Tyson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pearson throws the left hand but Tyson avoids the punch easily.
Pearson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tyson.
Tyson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pearson doesn't seem bothered though.
Tyson lunges at Pearson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pearson's hand.
Pearson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tyson throws a push kick but Pearson slaps the foot to one side.
Tyson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pearson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tyson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The crowd cheers as Tyson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pearson doesn't seem phased though.
Tyson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pearson will feel that in the morning.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pearson misses the jab.
Tyson lands a right hook to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice combination there by Tyson.
Pearson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tyson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Pearson rather than just go for the knockout.
Pearson is breathing heavily.
Tyson swinging wildly here.
Pearson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pearson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tyson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pearson doesn't seem bothered though.
Michael Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pearson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tyson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Pearson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tyson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pearson off and has taken his back!
