Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jos Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Manley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Manley!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cruz misses with a body kick.

Cruz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Manley blocks a head kick by Cruz.
Manley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Donk. Manley catches Cruz right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Jos Cruz has been cut.
Cruz shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Cruz misses with a low kick.
Cruz throws a sloppy head kick and Manley moves out of range easily.
Manley jabs at Cruz's body.
Manley is looking to score with low kicks.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cruz throws a leg kick but Manley sees it coming and moves out of range.
Manley stuns Cruz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cruz is breathing heavily.

Manley scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Jos Cruz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cruz looks to throw a body kick
and Manley counters with a crisp right hand that drops Cruz! Manley lets Cruz back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Cruz is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cruz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manley scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cruz doesn't seem bothered though.
Cruz backs away from a small jab... but Manley lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Cruz crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Manley with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Justin Manley!
After the fight, Justin Manley was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
