The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Heinen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Heinen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Johnson!
Heinen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Johnson down.

Heinen scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Johnson to see if he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Heinen cracks Johnson with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Heinen immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Johnson is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Heinen!
