Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by Captain America. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan King!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King drives through with a takedown into guard.

Parker is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Parker is on top in guard.
Parker stops King from standing up.
Parker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Parker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on King, up you get!
King ducks under a wild hook from Parker.

It looks like Stephen Parker has been cut.
A bone on bone clash there as Parker blocks the leg kick.

Parker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. King looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Parker goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, King has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Parker but great work by King.

King escapes and gets back to his feet.
No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Parker keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Parker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side.
Parker shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Parker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stephen Parker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King drops Parker with a left right combo! King follows him down to the ground into side control.


Parker is rocked!

You can see the frustration on Parker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Parker tries to buck King off but King is having none of it.

King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Parker.

Parker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Parker looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and King counters with a left and a right that stings Parker.

King has Parker up against the cage in a clinch.
King wants to break the clinch but can't.
A right hook to the body lands for Parker.
Parker tries for a takedown but King manages to get underhooks.
Parker drops to a knee looking for a takedown but King gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Parker tries to reverse the position but King maintains control.
King trying to control but Parker is having none of it.
Parker gets back to half guard.
Parker seems to have got his legs back now.
King wants to stand up but Parker has a hold of him and won't allow it.

King decides to stand and escape the position.
Parker connects with a body shot.

King lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Parker sprawling to the canvas. King follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Parker hang on?


Stephen Parker's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
King prevents Parker from improving his position.

King gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Good leg kick by King there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
King is trying to stand up here but Parker is controlling him well.

Parker swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and King is now in Parker's guard. A big mistake from Parker there, giving up the dominant position!

King stands up from Parker's guard - King perhaps looking for a knockout.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close second round but Jordan King will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


King stuffs the takedown attempt from Parker. Parker gets slowly back to his feet.

King throws a series of punches but Parker moves out of range.

King shoots for a takedown but Parker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

King on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Parker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? King is fending him off so far but Parker persists. Nope, King circles away and we're back to standing.
King buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

King looks like he's trying to stand up.

Parker stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows King to get to his feet.
King keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Parker throws a jab when King was well out of range.
Parker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Parker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
King is looking to clinch but Parker is avoiding it.

Parker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Parker controls King momentarily but King frees himself.

Parker is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! King rolls with it to try and escape but Parker cranks on the arm and King is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:04 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Stephen Parker!
