Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matheus Souza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Alexander!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza shoots in looking for a takedown but Alexander manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Souza's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Alexander lands a left and a right that send Souza crashing to the mat, dazed. Alexander thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Souza is rocked!

It looks like Matheus Souza has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Souza ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alexander stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alexander wants it to stay on the feet.
Alexander stuffs the takedown attempt from Souza. Souza gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matheus Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Souza fails with a takedown attempt.
Souza walks into a stiff left hand from Alexander.
Alexander scores with a crisp jab that stopped Souza in his tracks.
Souza could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Alexander connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Souza's hands.
Alexander cracks a nice hook into Souza's ribs.

Alexander drops Souza with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Souza looks back up at him and smiles so Alexander waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Souza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice body punch from Alexander.
Alexander connects with a nice cross there... Souza is looking wobbly and Alexander recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Souza to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Alexander jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
