Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kilo Macarenco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volg Zangief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zangief takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Macarenco lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Macarenco misses with a straight right.
Zangief misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zangief avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Zangief throws a body kick that misses.

Zangief moves into range and clinches up with Macarenco.
Zangief trying to land knees to the body.
Zangief connects with a nasty looking knee right to Macarenco's face.

It looks like Kilo Macarenco has been cut.
Zangief using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Macarenco is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zangief drops Macarenco with a big knee straight up the middle! Macarenco is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Macarenco is rocked!

Zangief fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Macarenco, pushing him back against the cage.
Oh Macarenco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Zangief breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Macarenco tries to keep at a distance but Zangief has taken the fight into the clinch.

Zangief pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Macarenco seems to have got his legs back now.

Zangief rushes Macarenco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Zangief will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Macarenco up against the cage.
Zangief lands a huge knee in the clinch and it's knocked Macarenco out! Massive knee - he's celebrating with his corner and the crowd showing their appreciation!
