Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Versus The World (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The World's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The lost vikings. Versus The World has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Severn misses with a low kick.
Severn avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The World defending well as Severn loads up on a big left hand.
The World connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Severn momentarily.
Some bone on bone action there as Severn checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Severn moves away from the strike by The World.
A big right from Severn misses.
The World scores with a decent looking hook.
The World avoids the head kick by Severn.
Severn throws a wild body kick that The World sees coming a mile off.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Severn, right into the meat.
The World ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Severn moves away.
Severn fakes a jab and throws a low kick but The World checks it well.
Severn walks into a stiff left hand from The World.
Severn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Severn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The World lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
With the fighters up against the cage, The World throws an elbow but misses.
The World tries to land knees in the clinch but Severn avoids the damage to the body.
The World looking to throw knees to the head but Severn is blocking nicely.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Severn.

It looks like Versus The World has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The World is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The World lands a nice elbow.
The World avoids the elbow strike from Severn, against the cage.
The World has Severn pressed against the cage, preventing Severn from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The World connects with a nasty looking knee right to Severn's face.

It looks like Bas Severn has been cut.
Severn misses with an elbow over the top.
Severn lands a left hand.
The World struggles to land a body shot inside as Severn controls his hands.
The World is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Severn lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Severn lands a left hand that snaps the head of The World backwards.
Severn throws a punch but it's blocked by The World.

Severn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Severn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The World.
Versus The World is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The World drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Severn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The World's jab looks to have found its range, popping Severn under the eye.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Severn tries to clinch there but The World circles away.
The World lands a leg kick that knocks Severn off balance momentarily.
The World lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The World moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Severn pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The World lands a jab to the head.
The World fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Severn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The World on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Severn. Severn obviously looking to wear him down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Severn connects with an inside leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Severn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The World is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
The World is breathing heavily.
Severn buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Severn throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Severn is looking to slow The World down with leg kicks.
Severn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The World on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Severn bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of The World's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bas Severn dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The World swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Severn counters with a stiff right hand.
Severn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from The World.
The World lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The World gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Severn points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. The World wakes up just in time to hear Severn thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
