Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Gargan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Raefon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raefon has chosen Riot - Three Days Grace as his entrance music. Mad Raefon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mac Gargan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gargan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gargan misses with a low kick.

Raefon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gargan tries to kick Raefon off but Raefon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Raefon throwing shots but Gargan is blocking nicely.
Gargan is trying to stand up here but Raefon is controlling him well.
Raefon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Raefon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raefon prevents Gargan from standing back up.

Raefon working over Gargan with some ground and pound. Gargan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

It looks like Mac Gargan has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mac Gargan's cut is getting worse.

Gargan manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Raefon keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Raefon blocking some punches.
Raefon has Gargan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gargan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Raefon has Gargan pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Raefon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Gargan tumbling to the mat - Raefon dives into Gargan's guard.
Raefon stands up over Gargan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Mac Gargan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Raefon throws a big right hand that misses.

Raefon is working Gargan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Gargan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Raefon off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Gargan wants to clinch.
Gargan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gargan misses with a hook. Raefon ducked under it nicely.

Gargan has closed the distance and engaged Raefon in a clinch.

Raefon gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gargan regains guard.
Gargan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gargan wants to stand up but Raefon is controlling him.
Raefon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Gargan kicks Raefon off and gets to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Raefon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gargan tries to avoid it but Raefon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gargan to the ground. Gargan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mad Raefon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Raefon gets tackled into the cage by Gargan. Gargan maintains the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gargan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Raefon is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gargan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Mac Gargan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mad Raefon.
Raefon wants a takedown.
A short right from Gargan.
Gargan misses with the head strike.
Raefon can't get the takedown.
Gargan gets underhooks to prevent Raefon's takedown attempt.
Raefon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gargan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Horrible takedown by Raefon or perhaps it was just good defense by Gargan which made him look bad.
Raefon looks winded!
Raefon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gargan sprawls well. Gargan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Raefon gets slowly back to his feet.
Gargan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Raefon.

Raefon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Raefon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gargan pushes Raefon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Raefon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Jeez, Mac Gargan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mac Gargan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mad Raefon!
An out of breath Mad Raefon thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
