The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardonia throws a right hand that Mirche ducks under and follows up with a left that Mirche also avoids with ease.
Mirche swats away the attempt to clinch by Ardonia.
Mirche keeps the fight on the outside.
Ardonia tries to clinch there but Mirche circles away.

Ardonia takes the fight into the clinch.
Ardonia prevents a takedown attempt there.
Ardonia misses with a punch on the inside.
Ardonia lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mirche backwards.

Mirche has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ardonia after a bit of a struggle.

Ardonia swings wildly with an uppercut but Mirche uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ardonia throws a nice looking combination but Mirche bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mirche tries to close the distance and clinch but Ardonia swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ardonia misses with a series of wild punches.

Ardonia throws a series of punches but Mirche avoids them all with ease.

Mirche avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mirche fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mirche dives in for a single leg takedown but Ardonia sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
