Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Junk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junk takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Junk misses with a two punch combination.
Junk throws a series of punches but Watson avoids them all with ease.
Junk stuffs the takedown attempt from Watson. Watson gets slowly back to his feet.
Watson closes the distance and clinches up with Junk, looking for a takedown. Watson pushes Junk against the cage but Junk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Junk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Watson moves away.

Junk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Watson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Junk decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Junk stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Watson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Junk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Watson shoots in looking for a takedown. Junk tries to sprawl out of it but Watson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Junk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Watson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

and Watson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Junk misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Junk scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
