Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and luke cummo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strong's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ace Of Spades. luke cummo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Paul Strong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong tests cummo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Strong is looking to clinch.
Strong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with cummo but cummo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Good leg kick by Strong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Strong throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Strong throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A head kick misses from cummo.

cummo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Strong sprawls well initially but cummo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Strong is looking for a sweep. cummo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
cummo wants to pass to mount but Strong is defending the position.
cummo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Strong wants to get back to his feet.

cummo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strong is just riding it out for now. cummo eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Strong tries to close the distance and clinch up but cummo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

cummo misses with a takedown attempt - Strong sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Strong throws a left that rocks cummo and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Strong dives into side control, looking to finish! Can cummo regain composure!

cummo is trying to control Strong's posture but Strong avoids it.
cummo is still in real trouble! Can Strong finish him?
Strong trying to control the action but cummo is working from the bottom.
Strong just content to control the position.

Strong slows the pace down.
cummo seems to have recovered his senses.
cummo tries to bench press Strong off him but Strong keeps the position.
cummo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
cummo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Strong off and has taken his back!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Strong wants to get back to his feet.
cummo scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
cummo has the hooks in. Strong is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Strong is breathing heavily.
Strong trying to control the position but cummo manages to sink in the hooks.
Strong is trying to stand back up.
cummo punishes Strong with strikes from the back mount.

cummo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. cummo showed some decent athleticism there.
Strong wants to get back to full guard.
Strong is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Strong is trying to stand up here but cummo is controlling him well.
cummo drops an elbow to the side of Strong's head.

cummo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Strong is controlling cummo's position as best he can from this difficult position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Strong tries to improve position but can't.
Strong wants to control but cummo postures up.

and cummo counters with a single leg into guard. Strong didn't expect that.
Strong can't keep his opponent in guard - cummo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

cummo cracks Strong with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Strong from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Oh Strong is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

cummo has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Strong is in real trouble here. cummo gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Strong is tapping out! cummo wins by rear naked choke!
