Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks checks a low kick from Coonaments.
Banks drives through and clinches with Coonaments against the cage.
Banks fails to pull guard.
Banks misses with some punches.
Banks turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Coonaments is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Banks's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Banks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coonaments on the ground.

Coonaments is looking for a sweep. Banks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Coonaments is pressing down on Banks's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Jacob Banks has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Coonaments dives in and grabs Banks's left leg, looking for a takedown. Banks pushes down on Coonaments's head and hops out.
Coonaments fails with a takedown attempt.

Coonaments scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Banks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Coonaments was covering up waiting for the punch and Banks finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Banks trying to control but Coonaments is working from the bottom.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Coonaments keeping full guard, as Banks tries to pass.
Coonaments is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Banks frees his head nicely. Oh but Coonaments has switched to an armbar! Banks is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
