Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stef Jalz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero throws a right hand that Jalz ducks under and follows up with a left that Jalz also avoids with ease.
Jalz misses with a double jab.

Zero forces Jalz back against the cage and clinches.

Zero has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jalz uses from the top position.

Jalz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Zero lands an elbow that stopped Jalz in his tracks for a moment.

Zero has Jalz pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Zero pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jalz tumbling to the mat - Zero dives into Jalz's guard.

Jalz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Zero stacks Jalz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Zero!

Zero pushes Jalz off and scrambles back to his feet.

Zero has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jalz regains guard immediately.

Zero gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Zero jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stef Jalz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jalz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Zero lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Jalz is rocked!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Oh Jalz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zero continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Zero lands a big right hand that drops Jalz! The killer instinct kicks in and Zero finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Zero!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sub Zero!
A determined Sub Zero didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
