Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leather Slammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Biscuits & Gravy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Leather Slammer!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slammer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Slammer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Slammer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Slammer prevents James from escaping the position.
Slammer throws an elbow but James slips to the side and avoids it well.
James is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Slammer has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slammer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by James, who protects the arm well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
James avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Slammer.
Slammer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Slammer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Slammer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Slammer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by James, who protects the arm well.
James wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
James on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if James tries to get out of the position.

Slammer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
James is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Slammer has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
James is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Slammer is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. James looks calm but he's in trouble here. Slammer gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. James is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Slammer lets go of the hold and James can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Leather Slammer!
A very excited looking Leather Slammer rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
