Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Stewie Griffen - Rocket Man as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Marko Gracie enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Lucas.
Lucas throws a leg kick
and Gracie counters with a nice uppercut.
Gracie fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gracie throws out a loose jab but Lucas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lucas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gracie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lucas was well out of range. Poor timing from Gracie.
Lucas scoring well with a low kick there.

Lucas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gracie connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lucas scrambles back to his feet.
Gracie moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie scores with the left hand. Lucas knows he should have avoided that one.
Lucas misses with a low kick.
Gracie throws a hook but Lucas avoids it easily.
Gracie scores with a shot to the body.
Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lucas sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gracie checks a low kick from Lucas.

Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lucas takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Lucas tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lucas is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
An elbow from Gracie crashes against the mat.
Gracie misses with the ground and pound.
Lucas on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lucas tries to get out of the position.
Gracie misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Gracie creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lucas sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Gracie wants to control but Lucas is keeping him busy.
Gracie throws an elbow but Lucas slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lucas dodges the ground and pound from Gracie.
Lucas is trying to control Gracie's posture but Gracie avoids it.

Lucas is looking for a sweep.

Lucas takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Gracie throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Gracie tries to score with some ground and pound. Lucas controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gracie postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Lucas wants to control but Gracie postures up.
Gracie tries for a kimura but Lucas is defending well.
Lucas is looking for a sweep.
Gracie works to advance to full mount. Lucas defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie has control of Lucas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lucas regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Gracie pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lucas is working to get back to half guard.
The referee warns Lucas that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracie lands a big elbow - Lucas is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Lucas is forced to tap out!
