Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grant Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris comes to the cage accompanied by The Night by Kromestatik. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez blocks a head kick by Norris.

It looks like Grant Norris has been cut.
Norris takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Fernandez remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

It looks like Nicky Fernandez has been cut.

Norris throws a shot from downtown. Fernandez moves away and avoids it.
Fernandez steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Norris. That one must have hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Norris scores with a hook to the body. Fernandez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Fernandez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Norris sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fernandez somewhat.
Fernandez is breathing heavily.
Fernandez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Norris doesn't seem bothered though.

Norris wobbles Fernandez with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Norris dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Fernandez to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
