Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie McStar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvarez comes to the cage accompanied by Bohemian Rapsody. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Robbie McStar!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice takedown defense from Alvarez. No joy for McStar on that attempt.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now McStar is on top in guard.
McStar is still in real trouble! Can Alvarez finish him?

Alvarez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McStar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McStar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
McStar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Alvarez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McStar is aware though and is defending well.
McStar seems to have recovered his senses.

Oh Alvarez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
McStar lands with a punch from half guard.
McStar is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Alvarez is hurt! He's hurt bad - McStar fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Alvarez from any more punishment! Congratulations to McStar! Great finish!
