Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benji Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armistice Warmonger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benji Silva has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warmonger shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Warmonger gets slowly back to his feet.

Silva has taken the fight to the clinch.

Silva gets control of Warmonger's arms and successfully pulls guard. Silva will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Warmonger is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Silva is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Silva has escaped and now he's on top!
Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Warmonger works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Warmonger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Warmonger on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Warmonger is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warmonger works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Warmonger in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Silva tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Warmonger!
