PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Aittosumu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kusse MikeHawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MikeHawk fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
MikeHawk goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Aittosumu moves out of range of the leg kick from MikeHawk.
MikeHawk fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Aittosumu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but MikeHawk paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Aittosumu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. MikeHawk tries to avoid it but Aittosumu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag MikeHawk to the ground. MikeHawk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

MikeHawk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Aittosumu is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down MikeHawk's shoulder. That is not cool.

and Aittosumu counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in MikeHawk's guard now.
Aittosumu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Aittosumu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

It looks like Gary Aittosumu has been cut.
MikeHawk moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
MikeHawk tries to advance to mount but Aittosumu denies him.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aittosumu, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
