Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Maake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Dimagiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juan Dimagiba is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maake lands a really nice looking cross but Dimagiba seems unphased.
Dimagiba is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maake sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dimagiba drops his hands momentarily and Maake takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Maake lands a big uppercut and Dimagiba crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dimagiba looks OK. Maake waves Dimagiba back to his feet!

Dimagiba shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Maake as he jumps to the side.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
and Maake counters with a left to the body.
Maake is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dimagiba can do to turn this around?

The fight stays on the outside here - Dimagiba looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Maake cracks Dimagiba with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Maake has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dimagiba to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dimagiba walks straight into a right hand from Maake - that's dropped him! Maake jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Dimagiba from any more punishment! Dimagiba complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
