The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RunningRabbit looks to land a right hand but Hasofi moved out of range.

RunningRabbit bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
RunningRabbit trying to control the position but Hasofi is working away.
Hasofi is looking for a sweep.
A lull in the action here as RunningRabbit stalls from top position.
Hasofi can't do much from the bottom here.
RunningRabbit working the ground and pound.
RunningRabbit has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hasofi is looking to take a break and control but RunningRabbit is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

RunningRabbit throws a series of punches but Hasofi avoids them all with ease.

Hasofi could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hasofi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
RunningRabbit tries to free his leg and advance position but Hasofi is retaining full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Hasofi has momentary wrist control but RunningRabbit slips an elbow through the middle.
Hasofi controls RunningRabbit momentarily but RunningRabbit frees himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Hasofi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but RunningRabbit swivels and escapes.
Hasofi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hasofi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
