Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel McDermott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Brazil!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDermott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brazil is fending him off so far but McDermott persists. Nope, Brazil circles away and we're back to standing.
Brazil misses with a series of wild punches.

McDermott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brazil manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
McDermott slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
McDermott lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bobby Brazil is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brazil really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McDermott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brazil has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McDermott is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daniel McDermott.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for McDermott, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
