The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Akimocha.
Akimocha shoots in for a double leg but Curtis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Akimocha tries to keep at a distance but Curtis has taken the fight into the clinch.

Curtis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Akimocha's guard.
