The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisping fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bisping shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Banister moves into the clinch.
Banister jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bisping postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Banister keeping full guard, as Bisping tries to pass.
Banister pulls Bisping in close to prevent any damage.
Bisping knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Banister on the ground.
Banister pushes a forearm under Bisping's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bisping is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
