The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dum has taken the fight to the clinch.

Ali Baba shoots in looking for a takedown but Dum manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ali Baba's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dum lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ali Baba backs up against the cage.
Dum tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dum closes the distance and pushes Ali Baba back into the cage.
Dum could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dum shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ali Baba sprawls well. Ali Baba wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dum gets slowly back to his feet.

and Dum counters by clinching up.
Dum has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ali Baba is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dum escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dum moves into range and clinches up with Ali Baba.
Dum keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ali Baba's efforts to push away.
Dum jumps guard but Ali Baba stands there with Dum around his waist. Dum gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dum pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ali Baba looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ali Baba shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dum as he avoids it easily.

Ali Baba darts in looking for a takedown but Dum gets double underhooks and turns Ali Baba into the cage.

Dum breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ahmed Ali Baba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dum throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Dum looks to score with a jab to the body but Ali Baba is just out of range.
A nice combination there by Dum.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Ali Baba is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dum tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ali Baba trying to control the position but Dum is working away.

Ali Baba has an Americana. Dum didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ali Baba is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ali Baba hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
