And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Cubensis Azul!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wiggin gets caught napping as Azul dives in and scores a takedown. Wiggin manages to retain guard.
Wiggin is trying to control the position but Azul postures up.
Azul must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wiggin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Azul throws a strike but Wiggin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Azul trying to keep a closed guard but Wiggin is proving a slippery customer.

Azul looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wiggin has picked Azul up and slammed him! Azul can't keep hold of the triangle and Wiggin manages to pass to side control!

Wiggin is looking to take a break and control but Azul is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wiggin has hold of Azul's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Azul tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wiggin cranks the arm and Azul screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Azul, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
