Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Thiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maricue Russel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thiago sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Russel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Thiago shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Russel but Russel pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Russel drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Russel seems to have locked his on tight now - Thiago screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Russel, as he picks up the win!
