The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grainger misses with a takedown

and Rabago decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Grainger's guard.
Rabago might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Rabago knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grainger on the ground.
Rabago distracts Grainger with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rabago postures up in Grainger's guard and throws a big left but Grainger blocks it.
Grainger lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rabago!

Rabago on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rabago tries to get out of the position.
Grainger looking to control but Rabago is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Grainger throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rabago is trying to stand up.

Grainger is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rabago is surviving well by controlling Grainger's body position as best he can.
Grainger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rabago is looking to escape.
Grainger looking to finish with strikes here!

Grainger thowing shots but they're missing.
Rabago is squirming around, avoiding Grainger's attempts to control the action.
Grainger is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Poor strikes thrown by Grainger there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Rabago wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Rabago stuffs the takedown attempt from Grainger. Grainger gets slowly back to his feet.

Rabago fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Grainger to the ground. Rabago is now in Grainger's guard.
Rabago postures up and lands a big shot to Grainger's brow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grainger utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Grainger is trying to control the position but Rabago postures up.
Rabago working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Rabago throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Grainger works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Grainger is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rabago chips away with some ground and pound.
Rabago content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Grainger throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Rabago throws a strike but Grainger rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Grainger looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rabago is defending well. Grainger quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rabago has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Grainger celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
