The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bob needs to keep his hands up - Lee had a free shot at his head there.
Bob uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee.
Bob fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bob throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease.
Bob is looking to clinch.
Bob fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bob has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lee throws a series of punches but Bob moves out of range.
Lee cracks Bob with a good jab.
Bob tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lee lands the left hand.
Bob is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bob falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bob tries to clinch up
enabling Lee to counter with a crisp jab.

Bob closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lee has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bob off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bob throws out the jab.

and Lee counters with a right hand to the body.

Bob fails with the takedown.

Bob throws and low kick but Lee moves out of range easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bob.
Bob is breathing heavily.
Bob goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Lee scores with a jab. Bob acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Lee connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bob momentarily.
Lee lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee lands a really nice looking cross but Bob seems unphased.
Bob shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Redknack Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lee connects with a single shot there.
Bob misses with a combination
and Lee counters with a left right combination that sends Bob crashing to the mat - Lee wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Bob out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rufus Lee!
