Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reico Vanlaque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Tank will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vanlaque seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Tank is holding on tight.

Vanlaque is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Tank is surviving well by controlling Vanlaque's body position as best he can.

Vanlaque goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tank turns into him and now he's in Vanlaque's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Tank wants to stand up but Vanlaque has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tank gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Vanlaque counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

A close round but Frank Tank will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tank gets caught flat footed, as Vanlaque shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Vanlaque has gone for a leg lock! Tank slips out almost immediately though and dives into Vanlaque's guard.
