Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Heath Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willians Trautman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wild International. Trautman has chosen Bolt Thrower - No guts, no glory as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Willians Trautman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
26 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Heath Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Willians Trautman!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trautman misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Smith slaps away a takedown attempt from Trautman, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Smith gets a double leg takedown into Trautman's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Smith's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Trautman is trying to control the position but Smith postures up.
Trautman wants to stand and escape but Smith is having none of it.
Trautman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Trautman is keeping the position for now.
Smith passes Trautman's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Smith wants to take a breather but Trautman is having none of it.
Trautman tries to get to full guard but Smith has control of the leg.

We're going to have a standup here because Heath Smith wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Smith throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trautman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Smith is in Trautman's guard.
Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Trautman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Trautman is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Smith rolls with it to try and escape but Trautman cranks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Willians Trautman!
