Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabe Fletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brad Davis told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabe Fletcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Davis!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fletcher throws a right and a left that Davis avoids nicely.
Davis slips a jab and a cross from Fletcher.
Davis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fletcher's guard.
Davis avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fletcher throws his legs up looking for a submission but Davis uses it to pass to side control.
Fletcher is trying to get back to his feet.
Davis creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Davis slows the pace down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis cracks Fletcher with a big elbow.
Fletcher prevents Davis from moving into mount.
Davis is working to tighten is grip on Fletcher's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Fletcher has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Davis is really squeezing tight and eventually Fletcher passes out! Davis breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Brad Davis!
